Node-H Joins Symmetricom's SyncWorld® Ecosystem Program Small Cells Category

Munich, Germany (PRWEB) November 14, 2012 – Node-H GmbH, the leading supplier of small cells software technology, today announced that it has joined Symmetricom’s, a worldwide leader in precision time and frequency technologies, SyncWorld Ecosystem Program.

Node-H and Symmetricom have collaborated to deliver a fully integrated timing solution for residential and enterprise 3GPP compliant HSPA+ small cells. The Symmetricom timing solution is pre-integrated and jointly tested to work with the Node-H HSPA+ system software. The software includes support for both NTP and PTP timing, and is available for the reference hardware solutions of leading Small Cell SoC vendors. It can readily be adapted to specific customer platforms. The fully integrated Node-H HSPA+ solution is licensed to multiple joint customers and is deployed at a major network operator both for residential and enterprise use.

Node-H technology is available to be licensed by OEMs, ODMs or operators, and can be integrated with other technologies such as Enterprise Wifi solutions. The Node-H HSPA+ solution runs on the UMTS/HSPA+ SoC solutions of Broadcom and Qualcomm. The software runs on reference hardware platforms available from the semiconductor manufacturers, as well as on customer specific platforms. The technology can be used for residential, enterprise or outdoor carrier-grade cells. The Node-H HSPA+ solution is deployed at leading worldwide carriers and it is tested with multiple network equipment eco-system vendors.
